MessageMr. Speaker,

According to the Hon. Mr. Lance, MP, there is some room for a compromise on this with his party. We might consider dividing our motion in two parts to accomodate the CP stance if this would lead to a parliamentary majority for at least part of this important reform.

This is, however, currently not the case. If, in the future, the political landscape changes, perhaps we may come to an agreement with the more open-minded in the CP about the necessary changes for the better.
