Message | Mr. Speaker, According to the SRP, they planned on leaving the government and calling for Early Elections if there precious "Moral Recovery Program" failed to pass, however it seems as if the party has gone back on their word. More proof that the SRP cannot be trusted. Woodrow Ames Leader of the UPR |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We would like to mention that we never agreed to such a deal. We proposed a new government because the Opposition refused to form a new government despite the will of the people. The SRP made the claim that they would bring down the government if we did not support their bill but we never gave any indication that we'd support it. I would also like to mention that we are the only party willing to work with the SRP so it would be unwise for them to make the government fall. If they bring down this government, I can assure them that they will never find a place in the cabinet. Paul Kilgariff Prime Minister |

Message | Mr. Speaker, It is true that we deplore greatly the fact that the Liberal Party is so little committed to secure the success of this government by working constructively with us to ensure getting the country speedily out of its mess. On the other hand, we must consider the good work our ministers are doing and the risk to make Rutania ungovernable if we resign. However, we will watch the situation closely, and retreat should we feel that the current situation does Rutania more harm than good. In other news, we have decided not to run for the Presidency in the next elections, because at this point in time we are not likely going to win office. Instead, we will support either the Liberal or Constitutional candidate, dependend on who we find more agreement with over the next 2 years. It need barely be mentioned that, given the current balance of voter support, the result of the presidential election will with near certainty depend on our endorsement. The other parties would be well advised to deeply consider this. Bryan Tersigni, SRP General Secretary |
