Bill: Bill for the Removal of the Minimum Wage
Details
Submitted by[?]: Konservative Volkspartei
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 3286
Description[?]:
The Konservative Volkspartei believes that it is the right of the business owner to determine the wages to pay their employees. By removing the minimum wage, we will further decrease unemployment and provide business owners with the liberty from the government that they deserve. I have enough confidence in the generosity of the citizens of Dorvik to not have to worry about employers underpaying their employees. |

Message | I don't see any reason at all to remove the regulation for a minimum wage. It was said the people of Dorvik do not have to worry about employers paying them not enough to survive. And the unemployment existing today does not have its origin in the minimum wage. It comes from employers who are not willing to pay their employees a certain amount of money that is -in my eyes- not so high a concern couldn't afford to pay. So if we remove the minimum wage and give this force back to the enterprise bosses, the unemployment may decrease, but the consequence would be an increasing amount of people who are not able to survive in a way worthy of todays society. |
