Message | thanks for the input RC, we have looked into the option of highly 'regulated private schools' option and unfortunately we have found some problems with it. Essentially, the high regulation will result in schools having to meet standards and criteria for education. In schools that cater to dyslexic students, or other schools that help children with more severe educational development problems, those schools would have to conform. What we want is to allow schools to exist where very qualified teachers set the curriculum. Those teachers will know best and they are working with parents in the best interest of the children, we should not have too much government interference into how children are raised, because it is relatively unnecessary, particularly in private schools. |

Message | The FRP's complete ignorance regarding education is continually appalling and surprising. Schools do not, nor should they, cater to a specific learning disability; the psychological effects that kind of segregation have been well documented and detrimental to a child's development. It creates a powerful sense of alienation and inferiority, as well as seperating 'normal' students from the learning experiences they have when forced to work with other students with different abilities. Perhaps the FRP should do some research in the field of inclusion and general education before attempting to justify their absurd proposals. Try talking to actual educators before trying to legislate on their behalf. |

Message | The FRP does not proposes school segregation, nevertheless there are schools that employ teachers that are trained to help students with learning disabilities. Why should the government regulate education so that teachers cannot help disabled children? |

Message | We feel that we should move slowly and see how well our newly created private schools perform before making other changes. The Ed system has undergone many changes this past yr and we should study its effects before making more changes. |
