MessageThis looks fine except we would like to see LevP conducting Foreign Affairs (wink wink, nudge nudge, etc)

For the sake of ensuring a cabinet is in place in good time, we support..

MessageWe would oppose this cabinet even if FM Alexander were allowed to retain his post, simply because the nation should not be held hostage to reactionary ideology whose mandate is less than convincing. The FRP and PP, to form a cabinet, will have to gain the support of at least one 'leftist' party, but how will they do this? Will they temper their extreme ideologies? Clearly not; the slew of bills presented has certainly shown that power does not temper radical right wing fervor. Instead they offer token power to the SRP in a government that will be overwhelmingly run by the disciples of von Hayek and Rand.

Our opposition to this government is not a matter of partisan stonewalling, it is a matter of preventing an ideology with less than 50% of the electorate behind it, whose victory is suspect, from taking over government and doing away with years of progress.

Let's recall the various stances of our potential leaders here. The FRP, the party that seeks to be the head of government, was the sole sponsor and supporter of the anti-immigrant 'Protection of Borders' act. The FRP and PP have repeatedly attempted to allow the copyrighing of software code, a position internationally denounced, even by some IT firms (ooc: go look at the EU's stance on this if you're craving RL proof). The FRP and PP have attempted multiple times to deconstruct our public schooling system, a measure that has only stalled now because the SRP has bravely cast their vote to defend one of the bedrock institutions of Malivia.

We call on the SRP to show that same bravery and vote against this cabinet. If the FRP and PP will not temper their ideology to gain the support of other parties they do not deserve a position in government.

MessageWe are unsure of our position. PP and FRP have had many extremistRight-wing policies, but at the same time, so have the Leviathan. (Of course the LevP has had extreme leftist polices, not rightist ones.) However, we have not always voted inline with their polices, and as long as they do not expect us to always support them, we agree.

MessageSo the SRP, in exchange for a token piece of power, have turned over our government to the right wing extremists? The Foreign Ministry, the economy, our education system, and our military, are now in the hands of plutocrats. This is what you have voted for, this is what you have allowed, for two seats in the cabinet you have turned over the remainder of the govenrment to free market radicals.

In what world was that a good idea?
