Whereas: The government of Likatonia has systematically and deliberately chopped away the traditional freedoms enjoyed by the people of Likatonia and, These freedoms are what has made our nation the great leader in ecomonic growth and personal happiness it was; Therefore: We introduce the following proposals to continue to restore freedom, liberty, and dignity to the peoples of Likatonia and to allow our nation to regain its place in the world as a freedom loving country: |

Old value:: Daily working hours are regulated by the government.
Current: The government has no policy concerning daily working hours.
Proposed: The government has no policy concerning daily working hours.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change Government policy on energy generation.
Old value:: All power stations are publicly owned.
Current: Small scale private electrical generation is permitted but most energy is generated by a government-owned company.
Proposed: Private and public power stations exist side-by-side.

Old value:: The national grid is fully owned by the state.
Current: Each region owns and maintains its own power grid.
Proposed: Multiple private companies each own and maintain sections of the national power grid.

Current: The government subsidises a national radio station for educational and informational purposes; other private non-subsidised radio stations are allowed.

Message | No, the state is not the people; the people are the state. It exists only to preserve the freedom of the people and should be no larger than absolutely necessary to accomplish this aim. The only inexorable facet of the state is its contraction to this condition. All power to the people! |
