Adjectives and other modifiers always come after their head nouns, e.g. Ṡurby Haddashtit = "Reform Party". 2. Adjectives agree in number and gender with their head nouns; masculine adjectives end in -i and feminine adjectives in -it, e.g. Ṡurby Haddashtit = "Reform Party" v. Ḣaber Haddashti = "Reform League". 3. Possession is marked by the particle "shel" (similarly to developments in Hebrew and Syriac), meaning "of", and not by the more complex system of construct state + genitive construction that Phoenician actually used, in order to make Cildanian easier to use. E.g. Safoṭ shel Qildar = "Republic of Cildania" 4. Cildanian uses the Hebrew alphabet instead of the Phoenician one, also for easier use. 5. | Message | From what I understood when I played in Cildania the Brythons speak Welsh. Also, I made them write their language with the Hebrew alphabet and be culturally based on Kurds. |

| Message | The real Brythons spoke Brythonic which is only related to Welsh. Brythonic is difficult to find resources for though. Welsh will be fine with me as it is easy to find resources for. I like the Kurdish based culture. I named various leaders of my party Celtic names from almost every Celtic language I could find information on. |

| Message | Ah, yeah, about the Shoftim. I initially used that to parallel Ancient Carthage, which was ruled by two Shoftim/Judges. So the word itself is a plural, and when I was here, I had 2 people as my HoG. Singular would be "shofet". As an alternative, I might suggest "Ra'sh", which means head. I don't know how one may translate government. |

| Message | You are of course free to do that, but I'd advise against it. The point of the use of the Hebrew alphabet (or the Phoenician one if you are so inclined) is to give the language a Semitic Levantine feel, which I think would be lost if you were to implement full Romanization. Just like the case with every other nation with languages written in non-Latin scripts, the Hebrew alphabet here is mostly for aesthetic purposes, primarily for use on the wiki. Using a transliteration without IG converting the alphabet to the Latin one would accomplish the same goal without the Westernization or Selucianization that would be implied by an official RPd transition to the Selucian alphabet. |
