Bill: Private Museums

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2150

Description[?]:

Museums will make money and be able to provide a good service as there is demand to see them. Thus government need not be involved in them. Lots of museums can be free and get by on donations, for example, rich people, being vain at times, like to buy art and wings to museums and have them named after them, this helps museums survive.

MessageThe Freedom Party doesn't know what it's talking about, rich people, being vain at times, buy valuable paintings and other pieces of art and put them away in a safe vault.

MessageAlso, the arts must remain available to the public, this will only create very expensive, elitist museums. The people has the right to see the masterpieces fellow Rutanians have produced!

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play.
