MessageAs this was a new proposal could you possibly leave it up for debate for a bit. I know that we don't with many bills but those are where we know each others views and what the result will be. Here as it is a new one I would have liked an opportunity to debate it.
Anyway, I vote no - child labour should always remain illegal. There is nothing wrong with a child having the odd paper round or something (which this law doesn't affect) but the idea of them working in factories etc. rather than going to school is just not something we can accept

MessageApologies, I didn't see your preamble text, but i shall still contend that part time and after school work such as paper rounds are not covered by this law. This proposal addresses Child labour which if i'm not much mistaken has a specific meaning and that is as in children working in factories and sweat shops etc. as you see IRL in third world countries. therefore I still can't vote yes

MessageNo child labour does not necessarily mean working in factories. It just has to do with working at all.
