Voting deadline: May 3297
Description[?]:
"We realise we are being written off as crazy religious kooks, by many of the anti-religious politicians currently in government, but we must adhere to what we believe is true - and trust that our faith will bu justified. There is absolutely no doubt that we are doing the right things - and we are constantly thanked by the religious citizens of Likatonia, who pledge their time to our campaigns, and promise us their support in Likatonia's electoral process. Likatonia is an overwhelmingly religious state, no matter what polls might seem to suggest. Likatonian faith is a quiet, but intensely devout faith. The current climate of 'enforced secularism' is not popular, and we listen to the faithful. This secular administration needs to stop hardening it's heart. Let our people go." Message | "I see there is an insidious remnant of religious society that we forgot to purge during the glory years of the Sokoloff movement. A shame. Alas those days are gone and the NTPL has now committed itself to a form of secularism that includes the protection of religious freedom." - Emanuel Klausen, Kancleri |
Date | 23:45:05, April 30, 2012 CET | From | AM Radical Libertarian Party | To | Debating the DORA - Defense Of Religion Act 3296 |
Message | As we have previously pointed out, if this is the true religion, it will convince by its actions; if it is not it will show that as well. In either case, the power of the state should not be used to force conversions. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
