Here are some things we believe can be handed over to the private sector. |

Old value:: The military acts as a de-facto police force, with powers of arrest.
Current: A civilian police force is in place, backed up by the military.
Proposed: A civilian police force is in place, backed up by the military.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning museum funding.
Old value:: The national government maintains a system of museums nationwide.
Current: The government leaves funding and operation of museums to local governments.
Proposed: The government does not fund or manage museums. This is left to the private sector.
Article 3

Old value:: The state operates a compulsory public system combined with an optional private pension.
Current: The state operates a compulsory public system combined with an optional private pension.
Proposed: The state does not operate a pension system. Individuals must save up for retirement on their own.

Old value:: There is a national police department, funded by the government.
Current: There is a national police department funded by the national government and there are local police departments, funded by local governments.
Proposed: The government competitively subcontracts security management to private security firms.

Message | The military is supposed to defend our borders from OTHER countries. The Police protects us INTERNALLY. If we sub-contract our defence to private companies to do the mundane, and have the military there to support them if some shit goes down, then it's much more efficent. If soldiers wanted to police small towns, then they would have joined the Police. Don't degrade our armed services. |
