| Legalizes the use of land mines by our military. We hope, of course, to never be involved in a war but land mines are highly useful in self-defense. Considering that we already have chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons legalized, there's no reason why a useful defensive weapon shouldn't also be allowed under certain conditions (necessity for the protection of national security). |

Their use will be restricted to approval by the Defence ministry and will only be used in defending our own territory against attack. Surely - when compared to our policies on nuclear and chemical weapons - such a proposal is more than reasonable to protect our national security. |
