MessageSome regulation is needed, but not too much. Only ban advertising that contains subliminal messages, leave the rest of advertisement be, and the ALP will support this.

MessageThat is exactly what we believe. Subliminal messages are currently going out to our people as there are currently no regulations at all on advertising.

MessageWe want assurance that there shall only be minimal regulation in the following areas:

- Advertisements containing subliminal messages.
- Advertisements containing inappropriate content at unsuitable times (before 9pm.)
- Advertisements on children's T.V that has content that could be harmful ie promoting unhealthy food, alcohol etc.

Other advertisement should be allowed to be broadcast freely without state intervention.
