Message | Mr. Speaker, The workers of aloria must be protected from unscrupulous employers. As such sadly we cannot support this legislation. |

Message | But, may I respond to the Honourable Member form the Labour Party, Mr. Speaker, we cannot allow the Trade Unions to dominate us. Trade Unions are there to protect workers, not set policy regarding salary caps and working ours. That is down to the employers. If there is then a problem, then and only then should Trade Unions step in, on the condition that here is a real problem present. We also firmly believe in making the Unions more democratic and more accountable, instead of the bullying that we see now. |
