| The Republican Party is shocked and disgusted that the word "Saiser" was removed from our national anthem! This notoriously isolationist country should be proud we led the free world in an alliance to destroy a tyranny that threatened the whole of Terra! When the Saiser (OOC: It's a title, basically the equivilent of Fuhrer) first took over Badara, renaming it "Greater Terra Region 1" and began his policy of ethnic cleaning against the Muslim population it was Aloria who stood up and shouted to the world "No!" And my friends our ancestors paid for it. Who can walk through our capital of Port Aloria and not be moved by the remaining ruins of the Old City before the Saiser dropped his nuclear bombs. Of every major city in western Aloria. And then they invaded. They planted their flag on our soil. They built their accursed camps in Aloria and began a programme of ethnic cleaning and genetic modification. They built pyramids of skulls from the bodies of those who resisted to tell the Alorian people they were small. The weak and the greedy capitulated to the Fascist state, enticed by the Saiser's promises of gold and power. But the good, common people of Aloria resisted. We were occupied but we took what was left of our army, joined together with the United Red Army militia of the Socialist Alliance and Communit parties, we formed an underground Parliament and we built our resistance. And not just in Aloria, as the Saiser and his New World Order spread accross the other nations of Terra we formed an alliance of free nations with all peoples willing to resist the Saiser. And eventually our Alliance defeated the New World Order! The Freedom Victory Democracy march arrived in Libertia after a hard fight and declared Aloria free. Would you have us take down the flag of the United Red Army in Veritia, that has stood there since the city was liberated? Would you tear down the statues of war President Henry Lewis Canning? Would you tell that young Red Army private who wrote our anthem that he needed to take out the word Saiser so it could be more vague and accesbale? Then why change our anthem? Alorians should never forget how we nearly lost our beloved nation to fascism! When they sing of our victory they should sing of the defeat of the tyrant himself! Aloria defeated the Saiser! (OOC: As one of my previous parties I wrote the anthem and would like the original lyrics restored) |
