Bill: Cabinet Proposal of July 2149

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2150

Description[?]:

Proposing a Cabinet. I have been in negotiations with the Nationalist Party, they have been more than willing to compromise and we feel they may make an excellent coalition partner. Thus according to the election results, i got almost double my three usual coalition partners and the nationalists got in between that. Thus four for me, three for them and two for the LIP, LAP and CP. I have given you three however, your favourite positions where possible and prominent ones too.

MessageYou do not even NEED the nationalist party to get a majority. The attempts of the Right to keep power are getting sillier by the day. This has nothing more to do with ideology or creating a working government and everything with excluding the RFP and Social Democrats at *any* cost.

MessageIndeed, they claim to be "libertarianism" while they make coalitions with conservatives and nationalists. Also, the RSDP and the nationalists have voted together on several issues, why do you want them as a coalition partner and not us while we are more progressive socially? Pure hypocricy.

This again demonstrates who really rules Rutania as if he was a Sovereign, not the Capitalist Coalition, but the Party Leader of the Freedom Party and no one else.

MessageAye.

And we're including the nationalists because we like them and most of their policies (although admittedly not all of them).

PS. RSDP you are listed as "Restrictive Leaning" in terms of civil rights.

MessageOnly because of our contrast with you, apparantly each time we vote against your extreme and fanatic proposals, our civil rights state is affected by that.

MessageIf this does not pass, we walk on the coalition. Same reason as last time. We're quite sick of the LAPs refusal to work for the good of the coalition and to accept electoral defeats.
