MessageGiven the strong feeling of both side of this argument the LP suggests a ten year cooling off period during which time the Act can be further examined and debated. For the sake of peace and national unity we urge all parties to accept this compromise.

This legislation shall expire August 3311

Message"The Unionists are disappointed, though unsurprised, at the Liberal Party's decision to flip-flop on this issue. They back an Act of Senate in the House, get wrapped up in a corruption scandal out of the House and then return to the House to propose an Act to undo the original. Do they have an actual position on this issue or are they literally making this up as they go along?

Needless to say, the Unionist Party sees no need to pass an Act to freeze something that has already been democratically agreed upon by a majority of the House. Quite frankly, the sooner the self-crowned Clarke family are out of Office, the more hope we have of reaching a conclusion to this affair."

Sir Timothy Spicer,
Unionist President

Message"Members, we believe that in the light of recent tensions and inflamed view points, that what is needed in this nation is a period of cool calm reflection, and that is what we are calling for. If the Unionists want a Social Incentive system that will stand the test of time then they must realise that this House must move forwards in unity on this matter, otherwise the system lacks credibility and recognition. Indeed in such times any titles granted may become some of a curse than a blessing upon the individual to whom they are bestowed

In addition the President has agreed that if all parties accept the cooling off period he will withdraw his draft cabinet proposal and leave the cabinet unchanged until after the next election.

I believe this is a grand and generous offer which should be accepted by all who wish to see Solentia prosper and I coment it to the House."

Message"The Unionists will not be held to ransom. If the Liberals want to play petty party politics with their cabinet proposals; that is their business. The Unionists shall take no part in such matters. We're statesmen, not politicos."

Keir Georg Hollande,
Unionist Vice-President (Legislative Lead)
