Bill: Restoration of Order - 3305

Details

Submitted by[?]: Beluz Democratic Karavist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: March 3306

Description[?]:

Only 83 seats in the Federal Council are occupied. There are 16 vacant seats.
Over 15% of the population lacks representation in the federal council. The legislature can no longer operate properly.

In the current composition, the legislature has failed to come up with a new cabinet, after 4 proposals.
Citizens need to go back to the polls, strongly consider their vote, then elect their best representatives to the federal council so that there is a properly functional legislature, which can give orders to a properly functional government, knowing 100% of the active voting population is represented.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.

Random quote: "What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?" - Mahatma Gandhi.
