Bill: The Sale and Use of Recreational Drugs Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Socialist Party of Vorona

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3306

Description[?]:

The DSV question why Recreational use and Sale of drugs is Illegal. Simply legislating against the use and sale of these items is not going to deter or stop our Citizens from buying from the black market and consuming them.

We propose that a state of Regulation on the Sale of Recreational Drugs has several positives.

Firstly, it will allow us to regulate what our Citizens are consuming, as opposed to Criminals deciding what our Citizens are using. This will make the process safer for people's Health.

Secondly, it will take away massive revenue from Organised Crime, and allow the Government to fund rehabilitation programmes and other social programmes with the collected Revenue from the Sale of Recreational Drugs.
