Message | Why do you insist that police do not patrol public property (i.e. land owned by the government)? |

Message | Police presence have been known to hinder certain segments of society from accessing said public properties. First of all, let's define public properties. They are all government-owned land and buildings, parks, and facilities built on such land. As such, hospitals and public schools are public property, as well as municipal offices and parks. Now, do you expect the police to actively patrol schools and hospitals at all times? Not only does police present at these places create an unhealthily "we-are-being-watched-so-behave" atmosphere, it can also prevent those who have bad experiences with the police of have a natural distrust towards them from coming to these facilities at all. |
Date | 06:22:12, May 26, 2012 CET | From | Parti conservateur royaliste | To | Debating the Police Reform Act of 3309 |
Message | If they choose not to go to school or hospitals, it is their own lost. We cannot and should not sacrifice security and unity for these ungrateful societal scums who have no respect for authority. Like the GreenLeft. |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
Random quote: "The two greatest obstacles to democracy in the United States are, first, the widespread delusion among the poor that we have a democracy, and second, the chronic terror among the rich, lest we get it." - Edward Dowling |
