MessageMr. Speaker, with the passage of recent legislation cutting corporation tax levels to zero and other economic stimulus measures, we have had to review spending further. We are running at a 19,342,831,601 ALO deficit, almost as big as what we spend on Health & Defence combined.

Again, with the passage of earlier legislation the Healthcare system has been privatised as has education therefore public spending in those areas can be adjusted accordingly without loss of service

We urge all senators across the senate to back this necessary adjustment in our finances.

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.
