Bill: Foreign Embassy Act.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal-Progressive Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2150

Description[?]:

To increase our international presence and to prevent isolationism, this bill allows any nation to establish a embassy on our soil. During a time of peace, we see no reason to prevent any nation from pursuing diplomatic relations with our own. If war ever breaks out among a nation with an embassy on our soil and vice-versa, then the embassy of that nation will be shut down and the occupants of the embassy will return to their nation. Restricitng diplomatic means of communication can be harmful to our relationship with any nation that is restricted from, or prevented from establishing a embassy on our soil.

MessageSince the foreign will grant approval in all cases with nations with which we are not at war, the current law doesn't make much sense. We are at peace, why put restrictions on diplomatic channels?
