Message | This is a thoughtful and well-worded bill, certainly. However, it remains CCF party policy to oppose state-subsidized media outlets. If a future bill on this topic comes up, offering tax breaks to purely educational stations, then we could lend it our support. |

Message | Sorry, I didn't think about this before, but these should be advertising-free stations, which is why they need funding. One of the advantages of this is that it allows educational tv and radio not to be compromised by advertising or product placement. This is key to shielding children and young people from advertising. |
