Message | The Freedom Party will break down its views on each Article of the Bill in turn. Article 1 - This Article also can affect Tourism, which falls under Shane Duncan, Minister of Tourism and the Enviroment. The Minister agrees allowing gambling almost anywhere would boost Tourism, but believes that a little regulation would do good so that casinos don't become rampant and bankrupt unlucky patrons. With a minimal amount of government oversight, the Minister and the Freedom Party will subsequently support the Bill. Article 2 - Failing to tax imported goods from nations that had tariffs on us is a major loss of money. While this falls under the Honorable Minister May jurisidiction, the Freedom Party is wary about supporting it. Article 3 - We believe the Market should take care of itself, and if the Unions and Management can work out their salaries on their own without government interference, excellent. We support this Article completely. Article 4 - We believe the law as currently is, is sufficient as it does allow a Full Time Worker the ability to survive and possibly thrive, as works in a free market economy. We are thus Abstaining and neither support nor against it. Article 5 - We would need a better definition of the quota. Some jobs may simply be better qualified for men that have the experience; and if there are quotas it may make the entire workforce suffer. Article 6 - We are completely for this. |

Random quote: "John Burroughs has stated that experimental study of animals in captivity is absolutely useless. Their character, their habits, their appetites undergo a complete transformation when torn from their soil in field and forest. With human nature caged in a narrow space, whipped daily into submission, how can we speak of its potentialities?" - Emma Goldman |
