Message | The Williams Family's position might possibly be swayed on this - but right now we're in favor of a police force that uses non-lethal weapons and may call on the military (as a very last resort). |

Message | I believe it is a good idea to have a specialized strike force meant for situations that don't neccisarily have the gravity for the military, but it still allows military intervention. |

Message | Besides it really isn't a bad idea to have an armed squad constantly ready for civilian situations in which firearms are necessary, like for breaching in hostage situations. |

Message | In a hostage situation, lethal force isn't needed, and it actually isn't even encouraged. In a hostage situation, you would try to open fire on the target, without causing harm to the hostage. In a case where the hostage is in a locked room, you would breach the room, use flashbang grenades or tear gas, and use non-lethal shotgun rounds to subdue everyone. |

Message | Fine maybe my hostage situation doesn't work but do you admit that there are some situations in which innocent lives can be saves by an armed team? |

Message | Saying that "lives can be saved by an armed team" is like saying somone's "virginity can be saved by having sex" |
