MessageThe Williams Family's position might possibly be swayed on this - but right now we're in favor of a police force that uses non-lethal weapons and may call on the military (as a very last resort).

MessageI believe it is a good idea to have a specialized strike force meant for situations that don't neccisarily have the gravity for the military, but it still allows military intervention.

MessageBesides it really isn't a bad idea to have an armed squad constantly ready for civilian situations in which firearms are necessary, like for breaching in hostage situations.

MessageIn a hostage situation, lethal force isn't needed, and it actually isn't even encouraged.
In a hostage situation, you would try to open fire on the target, without causing harm to the hostage.

In a case where the hostage is in a locked room, you would breach the room, use flashbang grenades or tear gas, and use non-lethal shotgun rounds to subdue everyone.

MessageFine maybe my hostage situation doesn't work but do you admit that there are some situations in which innocent lives can be saves by an armed team?

MessageSaying that "lives can be saved by an armed team" is like saying somone's "virginity can be saved by having sex"
