Bill: Abortion act of 3317
Details
Submitted by[?]: Party of the Aldegarians - Nationalists
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3319
Description[?]:
Due to the current abortion laws mothers are basically allowed to commit murder in their late stages of pregnancy when the fetus has a great chance of survival if it was to be born in that instant. We also dont want to see abortion to be used as a contraceptive. We therefor propose withdrawal from the treaty "International agreement to guarantee a woman's right to an abortion." that prevents the People's Assembly to only allow abortions in medical emergency. The government should instead work harder to make sure that condom or similar is encouraged to use when pregnancy is not desirable. |
Proposals
Article 1
Withdraw from the International agreement to guarantee a woman's right to an abortion.
