Message | "We will certainly not support the ratification of this redundant treaty. The presumptousness of this treaty alone, which in encroaching unnecessarily on our internal policies for the simple expedient of openening an embassy in Jakania, should be enough for anyone with half a brain and a feeling for our national dignity to reject it, and not proposing it for ratification." Rena Surab, Foreign Affairs spokesperson of the TDU parliamentary party |

Message | I do not think it is very parliamentary, nor respectful of our citizens to attack them with name calling, just because they choose to support a bill, or, even worse, may not understand the bill. This is a form of bullying and intimidation. To insinuate that a voter only has 'half a brain' if they support this bill is an abuse of power, and undemocratic at least in that it attemps to disuade voters from supporting the bill through name calling. This is also abusive of citizens of varying intellectual capacities who may not fully understand the implications of the bill in that your statments hurl deep insult to those who might support it, without simply explaining the impllications as you see them. |

Message | OOC: Afterfostercare, is your statement IC or OOC? My statement above which you are criticizing was made IC using robust language which may be frowned upon, but is not that unusual in many parliaments. Politics is not just lovey-dovey hugging and kissing. |

Message | OOC: lol Mine is IC as well :) IC: Our party is still not sure why anyone would oppose opening an embassy in another Nation. Can you explain why you are opposed for those of us who are new to the Parliament? |

Message | "We are not opposed to opening an embassy in another nation. We are however, opposed to accepting a treaty which imposes articles upon us that affect our internal policy decisions, which this 'treaty' attempts to do." Sebastiano Gallano. Chancellor of the Democratic Republic of Tukarali |
