MessageOOC: I'm opposed to 75. As stated in my previous thoughts, I am open to 100 Senators, but no less.

well inspite of asking, not much feedback - so lets see what people think:

I suggest having fewer Senators - it makes no difference to the results of elections, parties still hold the same proportion of seats and therefore power. I think it would make the game more fun to play - If we had 75 Senators instead of 450, then at the moment I would probably have 5 or so. If that was the case I could name each one of them and state where they were from, and role play them in Senate debates, when my party needed new leaders, my senators would be there ready to take over - debates would be more interesting and our Senate would be more lifelike. At the moment I haven't a clue who my 60 senators are - there is no character to the current debates we have - it is all a bit bland because there are too many potential characters

This idea was first mentioned to me by DRP - so I don't want to take the credit for it.

If your Senators represented certain states then there is the possibility that they could lose their seat at an election - again making the game more realistic
