| Message | The Liberal Party have for sometime had a strong and possitive working relationship with the Grand National Party of Dranland. They supported our Arts festival, attended a state banquet, and eventualy in a terran first our former Preisident Tobias Clarke served their government as foriegn minister. Looking at the Kingdom of Dranland we note that although their parties all have different political views, they share the values of freedom and democracy that we share in Solentia. It is therefore our opinion that we should form a bi-national relationship with this nation. We suggest a conference of all involved parties to look at how we could develop this idea further. We ask the senate to support this initiative. Zane Jackson Liberal Party Foreign Affairs Spokesman OOC most national alliances in terra are based on the friendship of 2 parties, once the parties go thier different ways the alliance between the nations is over. We believe that this alliance should be different and should be based on the shared values of all the parties in both nations - a genuine friendship and co-operation that will outlive individual parties. i believe that this would be a unique friendship within terra and would give both nations far more status and weight in terms of international affairs. |
