Message | The RFP faction in the Federated Parliament supports this proposal by the President as being of bitter neccecity. We would have liked to include the conservatives in the national unity coalition, however. |
Date | 16:49:30, December 04, 2005 CET | From | Liberal Imperialist Party | To | Debating the National Unity Cabinet Proposal of August 2150 |
Message | No. This is an awful cabinet made up of completely opposing ideologies (Nationalists and Socialists, with some libertarians sprinkled in for good measure? What the hell?). It's only being proposed as a desperate attempt by the RFP to get into government by scrounging for whatever (completely ideologically opposed) allies it can find. |
Date | 17:27:27, December 04, 2005 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the National Unity Cabinet Proposal of August 2150 |
Message | And what do you call what you do then? The Righ Coalition is also composed of completely opposing ideologies: nationalists, imperialists, conservatives and libertarians. Pure hypocricy! You accuse us of doing something you have continuously done for the past 50 years! The pot calling the kettle... |

Message | Pot. Cettle. Black. Unless of course you would call the programme of Nationalists, Libertarians, moralistic conservatives and right-wing nutjobs a coherent agenda. The disturbing level of common ground between the Social Democrats and the Conservatives in the Conservative platform bill is just an example. The RFP had resigned itself to an opposition role, even though the Federal President is from the Radical Freedom Party which gives an indication of what people want. However, now that traditional coalition negotiations have failed we feel that the President has a responsibity to attempt to form a working government. We have chosen this as a national unity government because we felt that these parties would be willing to participate in such a coalition. The President is open to other possible combinations just as well, should parties offer themselves to take responsibility in a National Unity government. |

Message | The actions of the LAP in putting the number of cabinet positions before a coalition is in our view, shameful |
Date | 21:06:09, December 05, 2005 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the National Unity Cabinet Proposal of August 2150 |
Message | Why? The nature of the Cabinet would be the same for them, they'd still co-operate with a libertarian party and three different ideologies. Of which under this Cabinet proposal at least one or two are progressive. In the current Capitalist Coalition there are no progressive parties other than the libertarians. |

You accuse us of doing something you have continuously done for the past 50 years! The pot calling the kettle..." The Nationalists and Conservatives vote with us on most of our key ideological issues. The RSDP and Nationalist Parties practically NEVER vote together on ANYTHING. This RFP ego-trip "cabinet" is just pathetic, and yet the LAP is supporting it. For shame. |

Message | The Federated Parliement is mad House. no one group Controls the majority, Left, Right, Liberal. Socialist. The Cabinet will not Work. though i would like to Thank the RFP for making a cabinet at all. The Nationalist will propose a Cabinet. then id like anyone else to propose one. If we Cannot get a Government, then an Early Election is needed. Rutania needs to be Lead. |

Message | The conservative omnibus bill would seem to prove the LIP wrong with regards to ideological consensus, and let us not forget that the nationalists and RDSP share much of the same electorate and have a similar outlook on the purpose in government, largely speaking. And the RFP has always gotten along pretty well with the LAP. |
