| Message | Mr. Speaker, I am here to inform Parliament that the Luthori Commonwealth Party has been dissolved following an upsurge in rogue right-wing membership. In its place, the Luthori National Party has been declared the official successor with a radical right-wing agenda. Naturally, I am saddened that the progressive party I once lead has fallen, and that the internal affairs of my party have once more caused a national crisis. For this I apologise. Until a new government is formed I shall remain as Lord President of the Government although I no longer hold membership of any party. I must inform Parliament that my government has resigned. On behalf of the fledgling Luthori National Party I can announce that the former Minister of Defence, The Lord Godhart of New Salem, is the party's leader. It is my belief that the political turmoil that has savaged Luthori politics in recent times will be resolved quickly after the election, and that all parties should unite against the Davostag Invasion Brigade. Thank you, and goodbye. I yield. |
