| Prostitutes are from vulnerable members of our society, and to make their form of living illegal is to relegate them to the underworld, where the law is absent to protect them. However, prostitution should not be recognized as an actual profession. Working as a prostitute is not the equivalent of working as a teacher or as an engineer, and thus we must draw distinctions. Prostitution is not a respectable establishment and should gain no actual legitimacy though it may be legal. |
