Bill: Nuclear Review Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Solentian Socialist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2151
Description[?]:
This bill would allow the government to encourage nuclear power (via subsidies, tax relief etc), thereby diversifying Solentia's potential sources of fuel and energy, without forcing us into a single course of action we may regret later on. ********** THIS IS A DISCUSSION ON OUR NUCLEAR POLICY. Would the parties care to forward their views concerning nuclear power? We feel that nuclear power is a highly important issue, and should be discussed by Parliament. When discussing this, MPs should note that, "government subsidies are provided for research and generation of energy through renewable sources", so this is not a straight nuclear power vs. fossil fuels debate. |

Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy on nuclear power.
Old value:: The government does not take any position on nuclear power.
Current: The government does not take any position on nuclear power.
