Message | What the heck is this? Are we really this barbaric as to take away the right to life and liberty like this? What happened to freedom of conscience and religion? |

Message | You can believe what you want to. We just feel that jamming that crap down some poor kid's throat at home is bad enough. We don't need it at school as well. |

Message | And allowing abortion has been shown to lower crime rates. And anyway, forcing a child to get born into a broken, dysfuntional family (no, gay parents are not broken or dysfunctional, just to make that clear) is pretty cruel. If you can't support your kid, don't have one. |

Message | To believe in God is a personal choice and you strip away the right of parents to educate their children? How does that promote liberty? Where is the freedom to believe in God? The CRP demands you stop shoving your secular religion down our throats and let us choose! And maybe perhaps we should educate and help people who houldnt be having kids? What has a child done to be denied the right to life? |

Message | Educate your children in whatever you want. But just don't let the schools do it as well. You are free to believe and choose. You are not free to ram it down some kid's throat 24/7. Why don't you let the kids choose? |

Message | A child has been born. We are not denying their right to life. |

Message | Yes you are by saying any parent can abort their child simply because having a child is an inconvenience! All children deserve the right to life and it is our job to make sure that all life. Whether in the womb or without is protected! And it is the parents choice of teaching their child the faith. It is not our job to say whether or not a private school follows a religion or not. We are denying the parents their right to educate their child. Stop jamming your secular religion down our throat!! |

Message | Secularism is saying that you believe whatever you want. We won't be jamming crap down your throat. It's not like we will be actively telling the kids that their religion is wrong. If you are so concerned about the parents' right to choose, why do you not let the kids have a bit of free will too. It is irresponsible NOT to abort a child if you cannot support him. It is your sort of conservative dogmatism that is damaging. You have to be realistic. |

Message | That is not what you are doing! You are directly assaulting religion and people of faith by stripping parents of their right to educate and choose how their children are educated! Are you so afraid of religion that it must be banned from the country like this? |
Date | 23:16:13, July 06, 2012 CET | From | New Democratic Party | To | Debating the Amendment to the Change Act, 3329 |
Message | They can educate their kids in religion at home. But when it goes to school, it becomes 24/7 indoctrination. It's not like we will bombard them with 'become an atheist, become an atheist' at school. We will stay fairly clear of religion to give kids the right to choose. |
