Bill: Karav Pharmaceutical Policy - 3330
Details
Submitted by[?]: Beluz Democratic Karavist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3330
Description[?]:
If we are funding it (especially since we're using the citizens' taxes) then we should be able to regulate the prices so that citizens may get them at lower expenses. We already subsidize the cost of all medicinal drugs, but that's still an issue because we can't afford to pay for the development of the drugs and pay private companies ridiculous prices as if they did all the work. |

Message | That is our point. Taxpayer money already pays for development of the drugs. Taxpayer money shouldn't have to pay for the drugs themselves when they have ridiculous prices. It's like a group of people putting together money to build a house and the construction workers get paid and leave, but the group of people still have to pay rent to the construction workers who were already paid for building the house. Citizens already pay for the drugs to be made, so why are we using their money to buy drugs at ridiculous prices? We can cut government expenses if we regulate the prices. They're using taxpayer money to make more money from taxpayers. That is unfair. |
