NOTING the lack of regulation on recreational drug use. CONCERNED that the lack of regulation might lead to abuse of said freedom. Message | They seemed to have switched around, from the way we remember it. Prostitution should be a "yes" or "no" matter - probably not wise to leave it to local government. Gambling should definitely be left to local government. There should be no laws regulating what citizens can put into their bodies. |

Message | With due respect, why should the federal [OOC: assuming this title is correct] government be the one responsible for mandating the question of prostitution, seeing that it is one of the oldest professions in the world, and is adopted by many different cultures and religions, each with their own restrictions on the matter of prostitution? Concerning the use of drugs, while we agree that the people have their rights to use their body however they want, barring methods that harm the rights of others, or the stability of the society in general, we believe that some of the harder drugs are deemed too dangerous to others, and those should be supervised, if not regulated, by the authority. The freedom of people consuming drugs should not be abused, for it creates hazard to the freedom of others, not to mention abusers taint the name of responsible drug users, especially those of religious reasons. |

Message | OOC: Yes, the federal government was the right term. By the way, could you put the gambling suggestion in another bill? I'll vote "Yes" on that one, but the other 2 will need more debating ;) |

Message | We still don't think we could support this. It should still be set to vote, however. At least the citizens would know what you stand for. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
