MessageThe SSP has proposed this for one reason: the National Socialists have been inactive for three years. This country is without a proper governing coalition. As the largest active party, we have given the United Centrists the most seats in this cabinet, and then distributed the rest amongst the remaining parties. Together, you hold a majority of Parliamentary seats, thereby giving this proposed cabinet electoral legitimacy.

Hopefully you will not hold it against us, but the SSP has proposed its own candidate for the position of Foreign Minister. We realise we have no seats in Parliament at the moment, and so this may seem somewhat presumptuous.

However, the SSP has pressed ahead and done this solely because we have been the only party to express an interest in discussing new international treaties. Hopefully you will believe that we did not include ourselves for personal gain - we simply want to propose various treaties to Parliament, so that we can begin discussing Solentia's role in the wider world of Particracy.

MessageA more active cabinet would be a boon to Solentia. We too would like to see more discussion in regards to international treaties, and will support the cabinet proposed by the SSP.

MessageThank you.

We would like to add that the other reason our party gave such a large proportion of ministerial positions to the United Centrists is their position in the current cabinet. It takes a lot of courage to leave a two-party coalition in favour of what is, effectively, a government of national unity. Without the contribution of the UC, government in Solentia would already have stalled entirely.

Secondly, if this cabinet proposed is approved, the SSP would promise to propose any treaties another party asks us to. We only want to make sure the job gets done - it is ludicrous that we have been forced into virtually total isolationism, without even the possibility for discussion concerning our foreign policy.

MessageIs there a reason the Ownership Federation Party has not supported this vote? Without your approval, this cabinet proposal will fail (in two hours' time), not having reached the necessary quorum of "more than half of the legislature".

The alternative to this cabinet is stagnation under the inactive rule of the National Socialists.

MessageWell, there we go. Motion defeated, despite unanimous approval from those who voted. This is getting absurd.- We in the SSP seriously hope the forthcoming elections will solve many of the current problems associated with minimum parliamentary turnout.

Random fact: When forming a cabinet, try to include as few parties as possible, while still obtaining a majority of the seats.
