Bill: Ratification of the International Embargo of Cildania
Details
Submitted by[?]: al-'Aqrab al-Aswad al-Tahalof
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes for the ratification of a treaty. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3334
Description[?]:
This bill asks for the ratification of the International Embargo of Cildania. If this treaty is ratified, it becomes binding and will define national law. The nation of Cildania now seeks to meddle even further in the Badaran-Kafuri conflict, continuing in its conquest to find an excuse to intervene militarily. Within a proposed humanitarian aid program exclusively for the Badaran faction, there are plans for no-fly zones. These no-fly zones are the exact means by which Cildania can achieve its sought intervention against us. They say they are neutral, yet they actively, but subtly, move themselves closer to conflict. It is likely their hope that us or our coalition allies will be the aggressors, in order to further paint us as the "bad guys." We will not fall into their traps, Kafuristan will continue to stand on the defensive and stand up for stability and democracy in southern Majatra. For reference, here is the proposed humanitarian policy in Cildania: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=354111 We see no reason this will not go to vote and be passed. However, if it doesn't come into being, Kafuristan should still establish an embargo given all the other factors of Cildania's closeted involvement. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
