MessageThe JNLP finds this bill interesting, as it goes against whan we perceived to be a conservative stance from the Freedom Party on this issue. We support the increase in funding for abortion, but we are hesitant to endorse a bill allowing abortions in the first trimester.

MessageThe first trimester is the only time that it is medically safe for an abortion to happen without risking the woman's life, and also realizing it is the woman's choice for what she wishes to do with her body.

MessageThe reason we are hesitant is that we had to consult amongst our cabinet. We will endorse the bill.
