| Message | This will not only solve crimes - it will help persons to find their lost relatives, and recording family trees and ties will be much easier. It's quite annoying when a person has to pay so much money for a paternity test. It's also too much for a person when they find out they have a disease when it's too late to do anything about it. Genetic hereditary diseases can be traced more easily, and the chance of passing it on can be noticed and stopped at the appropriate time. The benefits of such a database will even save blood. A person won't have to do a blood test every second for the simplest things. Blood transfusion will take much less bureaucracy. Identification of dead bodies would be much easier. This bill only improves the efficiency of the Ministry of Health & Social Services. At the same time, when there's a crime scene and DNA evidence is presented, there is no question as to who it belongs to. We don't have to detain 20 people just to test each one; we can simply detain the single obvious suspect. |
