Bill: Ending Slavery - Union Ethics Act (aka: That-bill-That Actually Changes-A-Law-In-The-Nation-And-Doesn't-Just-Effect-Roleplay)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Red Vanguard Dominion

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3336

Description[?]:

WHILE AL DEMOCRATY
Is content to ONLY EVER PROPOSE cabinet proposals and an end to our Royal Chairman, replacing all things interesting in the nation with bland dime-a-dozen titles that aren't even Majatran

THE SOCIETY
Looks to actually end slavery.

AL DEMOCRATY
With all its votes and seats, has used them over and over again to try to overthrow the Union

BUT HAS NEVER
EVER
EVER
Even ATTEMPTED to end SLAVERY within The Union.

EVER.
Who are the true tyrants? Can we allow Presidents and Prime Ministers to take a nation which allows slavery?

CAN AL DEMOCRATY
Put through a SINGLE bill which isn't an attempt to overthrow the Union, but instead actually tries to change a SINGLE ACTUAL LAW within it that isn't ADMINISTRATIVE?

The Society wishes to end slavery.
We look forward to seeing why Al Democraty could not have proposed this, instead of lobbying to call our leaders the SAME EXACT THING EVERY SINGLE OTHER NATION HAS EVER CALLED THEIR LEADERS EVER EVER.

Random fact: Periodically, it is a good idea to go through your nation's Treaties and arrange to withdraw from any that are unwanted.
