This large act outlines the fundamental changes we feel should be done in our economy. The dabate will last untill the next election and we are willing to split any proposals that others will vote for but not vote for the entire act. |

Old value:: Foreign investors may freely invest in national companies.
Current: Foreign investors are not allowed to invest in national companies.
Proposed: Foreign investors may invest in national companies, but may not get a majority share.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change Policy concerning industrial hemp.
Old value:: There are no regulations on industrial hemp.
Current: Only regulated agribusinesses may produce industrial hemp.
Proposed: Only regulated agribusinesses may produce industrial hemp.
Article 3
Proposal[?] to change Government policy on industry and subsidies to industrial operations.
Old value:: The government does not intervene in the market nor provide any form of subsidies/relief to industries.
Current: Certain industries are owned by the state, all others are under private ownership.
Proposed: The government acts as an investor of last resort, by nationalizing failing industries that provide vital goods or services.

Message | Yes keeping foreign stake holders might be a good thing as far as keeping ownership domestic, however, it gives less incentive to foreign investors. However, I am willing to sacrifice that to preserve our industries. Besides if the companies are successful investors will invest regardless. |
