Message | The Freedom Party and the Minister of Defence Connor Vant'Kruz fully endorses these change to the Ministry of Defence and the Jelbanic Armed Forces. |
Date | 06:02:53, July 19, 2012 CET | From | Jelbic New Liberal Party (JNLP) | To | Debating the Bill F-38: Draft Act of 3336 |
Message | In what way is this a beneficial act? Article 1 allows for discrimination of any citizen to serve our country in the armed forces, Article 2 makes military service compulsory, and Article 3 allows for blatant arms-gathering by any nation, whether they be friend or foe. We take offense to all articles, especially Articles 1 and 2, and will not endorse this bill unless those articles are removed immediately. Even for the Freedom Party, this is disgustingly tyrannical and downright shameful, and the people will not tolerate it come four- excuse me, come FIVE years. Shadow Minister of Defence Esther Koons |

Message | Our party does not support articles 1 and 2 at this time. Article 1 -- as the JNLP stated, allows any nation, friend or foe to obtain arms which is not necessarily in the best interests of the great nation of Jelbania. Article 2 would have the Jelbanian government create legislation which would force everyone who completes school to join the military. The Grey Party agrees with the JNLP on this issue and also does not support article 2. In addition, Article 3 is a direct contradiction to Article 2 in that Article 3 says the government does not interfere with who can serve in the military yet article 2 forces the military to accept everyone who completes school to serve in the military even if they don't want to. This Bill will not get the support it seeks from the Grey Party |

Message | Upon review and consideration the Freedom Party has decided to concede on Articles 1 and 3 and simply brought this as Draft legislation. Every man and woman should serve their country for two years, and the Freedom Party simply believes the most effective and patriotic way would be to serve in the forces. We are not forcing them to stay in the forces, or force it as their career, it is simply a way to gain discipline, gain experience and strengthen our military. The Freedom Party refuses to budge on their matter and will not step down from implementing the draft. Nearly all Jelbic citizens are in support of the Armed Forces and the Military is considered a Vital Matter to the Jelbic people. Connor Vant'Kruz Minister of Defence |

Message | We will not support this bill. Even if the Jelbic people support our Armed Forces, that does not mean that they wish to BECOME our Armed Forces. We vote no. Absolutely no. Shadow Defence Minister Esther Koons |
