Message | Given that this law has only recently been changed, does the Takanashi Clan really believe that they will gain enough support to reverse it so quickly? The Police are still able to tacke gun crime as they have armed units for that purpose. - Victoria Barbossa |

Message | We believe that since its supplement law concerning disarm of civilians fails to pass. It is only logical for our honourable colleagues to reconsider the implementation of this act. -Takanashi Spiritual Command |

Message | OOC: I wonder how influenced we are by our RL backgrounds on the issue of guns? I'm in the UK where guns aren't available to everyone, the idea of everyone having one doesn't compute well for me! |

Message | OOC: It is at least not influenced by my RL background, since I come from a former part of UK, where guns are also not avavilable to anyone. It is more a stance of the clan, seeing that they are autocratic militarists. And sorry about the election part. I must have missed it. |

Message | OOC: I did not mean to question RP abilities or anything. I just have found that often players are affected by their RL cultural background. It seems sadly coincidental that we debate this topic with what happened in Denver, USA today. |

Message | OOC: That is fine. :) It is true that many players model their parties after their political view, and thus the content of debate will invariably collide with what happens in RL. Particracy is modeled after RL politics, after all! :D |
