| Message | Mr. Speaker, While Davostag has a sketchy past and seems to have made some amends, we in the ILA still feel highly skeptical about giving them Luthori protection. We fully support the first two articles in the treaty however we have trouble accepting article 3. I Yield. |

| Message | Mr. Speaker, The Tory Party fully understands and appreciates the concerns of the ILA. However, despite the setbacks of the regrettable behaviour of the Davostag Invasion Brigade, Luthori has maintained strong ties to Davostag in the past; ties which were only severed by the wanton vandalism of the Commonwealthist rebels. In that time, Davostag has maintained, on the whole, its agreements with Luthori in good faith. We feel that signing this treaty would not only show our appreciation for the efforts of the Davostani government in ridding us of the Invasion Brigade, but would also encourage them to greater improvement. Further, agreements made in order to remove the Invasion Brigade as soon as possible required us to agree to the passage of this treaty. As such, we do not feel it is conscionable if we for our part do not now ratify it. I yield the floor. |
