Brief statement from the CEO of the International News Agency: "Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen of the Congress. It is with termendous joy and excitment that I am here to announce today that the International News Agency (INA) will be based out of the Lodamun Metropolitan District. We are set to embark on a new time period for Terra, one of freedom of information and acess fo news for all citizens. We are proud to be first stationed in Lodamun. "This is an act that we are proposing for the submition of Congress. We will not be voting on it, as we will be abstaining from all votes in the present and future. The INA is geared towards unbiased news, a gesture I am sure many of you understand. The International News Agency may discuss the bill with the Ladies and Gentlemen of the Congress to hear opinions and quotes from both sides. "This Act is the first step towards a new Terra, a better Terra, a more free Terra. Help us help the world. Thank you." --- Article 1 : SHORT NAME (1) The International News Agency will be herein referred to as the INA (2) This Act will be herein referred to as the INA Act --- Article 2 : FREEDOM OF PRESS (1) All INA reporters are to be able to receive any documents or other such infromation from the Government of Lodamun at any time. Failure to comply will result with a criminal charge. (2) All Government of Lodamun employees, associates, and external help may be interviewed by INA or its affliates at any time. Interviewees maintain the right to speak with the INA, or to refuse that right. Coercion to attempt to stop a interviewee from talking with the INA is a criminal charge. (3) All private organizations and corporations must divulge information to the INA. Private citizens are exempt from a mandatory discharge of relevent information. (4) It is illegal to hamper, interfere, disrupt or block information from a INA reporter or INA article. --- Article 3: CITIZEN ACCESS (1) All citizens have the right to purchase or receive INA or INA affliated news. |
