Voting deadline: June 3340
Description[?]:
IT SEEMS There is discontent, by a single party, in Al'Badara, over The Union. DESPITE BEING An Arab-based nation, Al'Democraty continues to insist we change our leadership titles to English, Western, European titles. THIS IS NOT BORING ENOUGH No, we must welcome more boredom. We can change these titles to anything our hearts desire, we can make this Roleplay into anything we can imagine. So shouldn't we try to make it as bland and vanilla as possible? AL DEMOCRATY Certainly things so. But they are not going far enough. Let us remove all roleplay flavor for the nation, lets just vote Yes or No with a short paragraph of rhetoric as to why. Lets kill all possibility to make Al'Badara unique or interesting, and become a stagnant 8-party Republic while a half dozen other nations remain single-party dictatorships. |

Message | (OOC: Here's our news channel http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=79&start=130 And here's a list of all the bills the Progressive Left party has proposed: And here's a transcript of everything they've ever said: --- Welcome to the Anti-Liberation and National Multiculturalism parties! I'm trying to push more roleplay in Al'Badara, and you've already proposed several new and interesting bills. As has CUPA and The House. My issue is, besides cabinet proposals and national overthrows, Al Democraty hasn't tried to change a single thing. We had slavery for 18 years, and they only ever tried to change our titles to boring President/Prime Minister. There is much much more to this game then seats and titles, the forums are rich with RP, and many laws remain oddities in the Union. I'm hoping we can work together to make Al'Badara into great nation, and not just all have private agendas to change the laws to something neat for a few weeks, forgotten to the Wiki, to the forum and soon changed by the party that follows your future inactivity. Let's make history together!) |

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law. |
