Bill: Bill SEP-45 Economic Boost Initiative

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Democratic Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2152

Description[?]:

Setting a tax on luxury goods to 10% to 5% is brutal and could be disastrous to the economy. If we set higher taxes on goods which consumers buy, they will buy less and less which equates to less money circulating through the economy and our economy slows down considerably. Therefore, to continue providing more freedom to the consumer and the individual and keeping the economy above water, we propose the reduction of the current luxury goods tax to the previous value of 5.00%
