Message | We reaffirm our commitment to low taxes and free enterprise. We've made our position clear in the run up to the vote and we are taking this final debate before the election to reiterate our belief in the power of the free market. The free market is the best structure to promote prosperity and empower the individual. It allows each person to work to their ability and ambition and profit from the income that their talent yields. The government must allow citizens to keep as much as their money as possible, otherwise those citizens are not really free. The socialists like to say that their approach is about power to the people. They're wrong. Their approach is more accurately power over the people. They want the state to decide every little thing. They want to tax away every penny you earn so you can't choose your own path in life, but all they are doing is creating a disincentive to work. We have seen in this last legislative term that the HDP is the only party fully committed to the free market system. We have been the only party to press for lower taxes, freer markets, and less nanny statism. We need a strong voice now in order to finally break the shackles of socialism. Kafuristan forward, not back. |
