Message | I note with sadness that the Hizb al-Ba'th al-Qawmi and the Asly Socialist Party have won a parliamentary majority. I do not believe however, that they should be denied the chance to form a cabinet in accordance with the democratic will of the people just because they didn't win the presidency too. Therefore this bill would allow the majority to form a government. The present set-up allows too much gridlock and back door scullduggery. |
